Senior Network Deployment Engineer Data Center Infrastructure

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Deployment Engineer to build, deploy, validate, and support large-scale data center network infrastructure. This role focuses on hands-on deployment of modern Ethernet-based data center fabrics, routing and switching infrastructure, and production network environments.
The ideal candidate has strong experience deploying BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, and spine-leaf data center networks in enterprise, cloud, ISP, or hyperscale environments. Experience with AI networking technologies such as RoCEv2 or InfiniBand is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and validate large-scale Ethernet-based data center networks.
- Build and support spine-leaf fabrics using EVPN/VXLAN.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
- Perform network implementations, migrations, hardware refreshes, and production cutovers.
- Execute deployment plans, MOPs, and change activities for production environments.
- Validate network health, connectivity, redundancy, and performance after deployment.
- Troubleshoot Layer 2, Layer 3, routing, switching, optics, and connectivity issues.
- Work closely with architecture, systems, cloud, and operations teams during deployments.
- Automate deployment and validation tasks using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Produce deployment documentation, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- 7 15+ years of experience in:
- Network Deployment
- Network Engineering
- Data Center Networking
- Infrastructure Operations
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Ethernet Networking
- Routing & Switching
- BGP
- OSPF
- IS-IS
- EVPN/VXLAN
- Spine-Leaf Data Center Architectures
Experience deploying and supporting:
- Cisco
- Arista
- Juniper
- Multi-vendor network environments
Experience with:
- Data center build-outs
- Network migrations
- Production deployments
- Hardware installation
- Rack & stack
- Network validation
- Production troubleshooting
- Change management
Working knowledge of Linux.
Experience with Python, Ansible, or other automation tools is preferred.
