Position SummaryThe Executive Vice President of Recycling is the visionary and operational leader responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing Securis' recycling division into a high-performing, revenue-generating engine. This role owns the full lifecycle of recycling operations, transforming what is traditionally viewed as a cost center into a strategic driver of profitability and sustainability.
Today, Securis processes approximately 500,000 pounds of electronic scrap monthly, with a goal to increase volume by 20-30% over the next 24 months. Recent investments in advanced shredding capabilities create immediate opportunities to expand throughput, enhance material recovery, and scale recycling services.
We are seeking a high-energy builder and operator who combines deep expertise in industrial engineering and supply chain logistics with a visionary approach to sustainable manufacturing. This leader brings a relentless focus on operational excellence, material recovery optimization, and continuous improvement, along with the ability to scale systems, teams, and performance in a rapidly growing environment.
An ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in downstream recycling ecosystems, including audit practices, commodity recovery, and backend processing systems. This expertise enables them to drive immediate impact, strengthen downstream accountability, and maximize value recovery from day one.

- Establish and enforce downstream audit practices, ensuring transparency, compliance, and verification of recovery outcomes
- Develop standardized methodologies for measuring recovery and reconciling internal data with downstream processor assays
- Identify and eliminate value leakage across the recycling lifecycle
Operational Infrastructure
- Design and implement backend systems that support accurate tracking of material intake, processing, yield, and financial recovery
- Evaluate current system limitations and implement solutions that support a high-volume ("mega-shredding") operation
- Build data visibility that enables real-time decision-making and operational accountability
Leadership and Alignment
- Build and lead a high-performing, accountable recycling operations team
- Instill a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement
