responsibilities:
- Business Discovery Requirements
- Lead discovery workshops with Relationship Managers Credit Loan Officers Collateral Operations Risk Compliance and Audit
- Document currentstate processes manual workarounds and pain points then define futurestate processes
- Write epics user stories business rules and acceptance criteria and own backlog refinement with the Product Owner
- Collateral Lifecycle Expertise
- Collateral acquisition registry onboarding classification and borrowerfacilityloan relationships including crosscollateralization and guarantees
- Valuation appraisals valuation history eligibility advance rates loantovalue LTV and coverage calculations and revaluation triggers
- Lien perfection UCC filings continuations lien priority real estate mortgages titles and tracking perfection exceptions
- Insurance management checking coverage adequacy tracking expirations and renewals and handling forceplaced insurance exceptions
- Collateral release substitution full or partial releases approval workflows and legal documentation
- Monitoring exceptions periodic reviews covenant and borrowingbase monitoring exception aging escalation and remediation
- Integration Data
- Define functional integration requirements with AFS Vision Loan IQ nCino the customer master credit risk systems and enterprise document repositories
- Support data migration from the legacy platform This includes data mapping cleansing rules reconciliation and coexistence with legacy trackers during the transition
- Define data quality rules and the attributes for the single authoritative collateral record
- Controls Reporting Compliance
- Specify makerchecker approvals segregation of duties audit trails and data retention requirements
- Define operational dashboards collateral inventory reports exposure and coverage reports and support for regulatory reporting
- Make sure requirements reflect US regulatory expectations for credit risk management and audits OCCFRBFDIC
- Delivery Support
- Work with the Architect developers and QA to prioritize capabilities core collateral controls first then automation then AIenabled capabilities
- Support SIT and UAT triage defects prepare for business signoff and support training and golive
- Advise the bank on industry best practices for collateral management
qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Deep knowledge of US commercial lending CI CRE ABL syndicated or participated loans and the credit approval and servicing lifecycle
Handson experience with collateral operations UCC Article 9 perfection valuation and appraisal management insurance tracking and releases
Functional experience with at least one of AFS Vision ACBS Loan IQ or nCino
Proven experience writing requirements for large lending or collateral platform builds or migrations
Experience with legacytonew platform data migration and reconciliation
Strong Agile delivery experience Jira story writing backlog grooming
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills comfortable leading workshops with senior bank business leaders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience on a custom nonpackaged collateral or lending platform build
Exposure to collateral vendor products such as STOC SageworksAbrigo or Moodys
Understanding of API and eventdriven integration concepts
Familiarity with AIenabled document extraction or intelligent monitoring use cases
Certifications such as CSMCSPO CBAP or a commercial lending or credit certification
Background as a commercial credit analyst loan officer or collateral operations lead at a US bank
