About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant to join the Commercial Banking Data & Transformation Loan Delivery organization, supporting the Credit Execution Product team. In this role, you will drive the modernization, automation, and transformation of lending technology solutions across the full loan lifecycle.

You will partner with business leaders, product teams, and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable data, workflow, and application solutions that improve lending operations, streamline processes, and support strategic business objectives. This position requires deep expertise in data analysis, system integration, stakeholder management, and banking technology.
What You'll Do
  • Lead complex technology and business systems initiatives supporting loan origination and portfolio management platforms.
  • Drive data transformation efforts, including rebuilding, automating, and integrating critical business systems.
  • Partner with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to define and deliver innovative business solutions.
  • Perform advanced data profiling, reconciliation, and analysis of large, complex datasets using SQL and backend data platforms.
  • Translate business needs and technical findings into actionable requirements, user stories, and solution recommendations.
  • Lead backend testing efforts, identifying root causes of technical issues and driving prioritization and resolution strategies.
  • Support production environments by investigating and resolving application, workflow, and data-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve document management, workflow automation, and operational processes.
  • Influence strategic technology decisions through data-driven insights and industry best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leaders and business partners to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Business Systems Consulting, Business Systems Design, Data Analysis, or related experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL database technologies.
  • Advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries, joins, data analysis, and large-scale data reconciliation.
  • Strong experience with data profiling, data normalization, and data quality initiatives.
  • Experience gathering requirements and creating user stories for technology and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial Banking, Credit Operations, or Lending Technology experience.
  • Experience supporting loan origination, portfolio management, or lending workflow systems.
  • Knowledge of document exchange management platforms and process management solutions.
  • Experience building new integrations and automating legacy business processes.
  • Background in backend testing, data validation, and production support.
  • Familiarity with Agile product delivery methodologies.
