Genesis10 is currently seeking an Identity Management Operations Analyst for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is an 11+ month contract opportunity. The Identity Management Operations Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operational support, administration, and maintenance of the enterprise IBM Secrets Vault platform and its supporting Linux/Unix infrastructure. This role serves as a key member of the Identity Management Operations organization, ensuring the availability, stability, security, and resiliency of secrets management services. The position provides Level 2 operational support, including incident triage, problem management, and change implementation.
Responsibilities: - Provide Level 2 operational support for IBM Secrets Vault and support of Linux/Unix infrastructure
- Monitor platform health and respond to alerts, incidents, outages, and service degradations
- Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation of application, system, and infrastructure issues
- Execute planned changes, upgrades, maintenance activities, and platform deployments
- Support system patching, backup validation, disaster recovery, and technology currency initiatives
- Maintain operational runbooks, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Infrastructure Services, and Security teams to support platform enhancements
- Perform access provisioning, de-provisioning, and administration activities
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
- Coordinate and support annual Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing exercises
- Participate in major incident response activities and problem management reviews
- Manage work intake and operational requests through established ITSM processes
- Ensure operational compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation and follow-the-sun support model
Requirements: - 5+ years of Linux/Unix systems administration experience in a production environment
- Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting experience
- Experience supporting enterprise secrets management, privileged access, or credential management platforms
- Strong Shell scripting experience and demonstrated automation capabilities; Python experience preferred
- Experience with SSH, public/private key authentication, certificate management, and secure communications protocols
- Experience troubleshooting distributed applications and infrastructure components
- Familiarity with LDAP, Active Directory, and enterprise authentication concepts
- Experience with load balancing technologies, web services, and application hosting environments
- Working knowledge of relational database technologies and SQL queries for troubleshooting
- Experience supporting Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes
- Experience with ServiceNow, Remedy, or other enterprise ITSM platforms
- Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong documentation skills, including SOPs and operational procedures
Desired skills: - Direct experience administering or supporting IBM Secrets Vault in a production environment
- Experience supporting Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as CyberArk or similar technologies
- Knowledge of secrets lifecycle management, credential rotation, and privileged account governance
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
- Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and observability platforms, including Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar technologies
- Experience supporting high-availability and disaster recovery environments
- Knowledge of ITIL service management principles and operational best practices
- Experience coordinating Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing activities
Pay range: $79.74 - $87.74 per hour
