About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled
Lead CyberArk Engineer to drive the strategy, architecture, engineering, and operational maturity of our enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) ecosystem. In this role, you will serve as the technical authority for CyberArk solutions, leading the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and automated privileged access services that protect critical business assets across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
You will partner closely with Security, Identity & Access Management, Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Application Development, and Platform Operations teams to deliver modern PAM capabilities that balance security, compliance, and user experience.
This position is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who combines deep CyberArk expertise with strong architectural vision, automation capabilities, and a passion for mentoring engineering teams.
What You'll DoLeadership & Strategy- Lead enterprise-wide CyberArk engineering initiatives and PAM transformation programs.
- Define and execute the privileged access management roadmap aligned with security and business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural direction, and engineering governance across PAM platforms.
- Drive platform modernization efforts, automation adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and develop engineers while fostering engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.
Architecture & Engineering- Design, implement, and maintain highly available CyberArk environments supporting enterprise-scale operations.
- Lead solution architecture for Privileged Access Management, Privileged Session Management, Secrets Management, and Access Governance capabilities.
- Develop scalable integrations between CyberArk and enterprise identity, cloud, infrastructure, and application platforms.
- Establish architecture standards, engineering best practices, and platform design patterns.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance security posture and operational efficiency.
Automation & Operations- Drive automation of PAM onboarding, credential lifecycle management, secrets rotation, and privileged access workflows.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, and resiliency through engineering best practices.
- Support incident response activities related to privileged access technologies and security controls.
- Partner with security operations and compliance teams to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Implement monitoring, reporting, and operational metrics to ensure service excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, Security, IAM, and Engineering teams to deliver integrated security solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for privileged access strategy, risk reduction, and secure access enablement.
- Lead technical reviews, design sessions, and stakeholder communications across multiple business units.
Minimum Qualifications- 7+ years of experience in Information Security, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, Identity & Access Management (IAM), or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of hands-on CyberArk engineering experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience leading large-scale PAM implementations and security engineering initiatives.
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting highly available, mission-critical security platforms.
- Strong knowledge of privileged access management, credential vaulting, session management, and secrets management concepts.
- Experience with automation, scripting, and infrastructure integration technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications- Deep expertise with CyberArk Privileged Access Manager, PAS, PSM, CPM, PVWA, Conjur, and related CyberArk solutions.
- Experience securing hybrid and cloud environments including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, MFA, and Zero Trust principles.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, Infrastructure as Code, and security automation frameworks.
- Industry certifications such as CyberArk Defender/Sentry, CISSP, Security+, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers and leading technical teams.
