Summary

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java programming, object-oriented concepts, and software development practices, along with a willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and backend services.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
Work with senior developers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend components.
Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
Write unit tests and support application testing and deployment.
Collaborate with QA, product, and other development teams.
Learn and apply modern Java development frameworks and technologies.

Required Skills

0–2 years of experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Familiarity with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version-control systems.
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate/JPA, Maven, or Gradle.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to AWS, Azure, Docker, or CI/CD is a plus.
