Summary

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced L3 Java Developer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level Java applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs, and the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications and backend services.
Develop robust and secure applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and production issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
Participate in production deployments, incident management, and application support.
Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Required Technical Skills

5–6 years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and REST APIs.
Experience with Microservices architecture.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
Strong understanding of Git and version control.
Experience with Maven or Gradle.
Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing.
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies.
Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
Knowledge of system design and distributed systems.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5–6 years of relevant Java development experience.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently, handle production-critical issues, and take ownership of technical deliverables.
