Pay Rate: $30.00-$34.00 per hour W2
Must be open to either 2nd shift or 3rd shift- 2nd shift: 2pm - 10:30 pm
- 3rd shift: 10:30pm - 6am
Role Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing industrial maintenance on production lines, including conveyors, compressors, and pumps. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical devices to ensure smooth and efficient operations within a manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical devices on production lines and support equipment.
- Perform maintenance on industrial equipment, including conveyors, compressors, and pumps.
- Complete daily preventive maintenance procedures and conduct visual inspections of all line and support equipment.
- Rebuild pumps and related equipment as needed.
- Train and assist line personnel and supervisors.
- Communicate operating information and concerns to personnel on other shifts.
- Participate in team meetings to evaluate and investigate process improvement opportunities.
- Complete required paperwork, such as Work Orders, Parts Usage Reports, and Downtime Reports.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- Proven background in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility is required.
- Demonstrated ability to operate, troubleshoot, and repair production line equipment, including air and ammonia compressors, chillers, water softeners, and boilers.
Technical Skills:- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic prints, pneumatic diagrams, electrical ladder diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Working knowledge of installing and wiring motors, inspecting conveyor parts, and understanding machine controls and circuits.
- Proficiency with programming, editing, and installing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Familiarity with using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical troubleshooting equipment.
General Skills:- Strong team communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math and writing abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.

- Welding skills.
- Aptitude for growth and a desire for a long-term role.
