AV Technician / Video Conferencing & Live Events Support
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AV Technician to support enterprise video conferencing, meeting room technology, and live event production. This is a hybrid operational and event-support role where you will maintain conference room technology, provide video conferencing support, manage AV incidents, and execute high-visibility live and hybrid events for executives, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, remains calm under pressure, and has a strong background in AV systems, video conferencing technologies, event production, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
<>Video Conferencing & AV Operations
- Support and maintain conference room AV technology and collaboration environments
- Respond to ServiceNow video conferencing support requests
- Perform proactive conference room health checks and technology sweeps
- Troubleshoot audio, video, and connectivity issues
- Coordinate with AV Operations and Network Operations teams for issue resolution
<>Live & Hybrid Event Support
- Plan, coordinate, and execute live, virtual, and hybrid events
- Support leadership meetings, executive presentations, customer events, and partner meetings
- Configure and operate audio boards, AV switching equipment, microphones, cameras, and displays
- Ensure seamless delivery of high-visibility events with minimal downtime
- Provide real-time troubleshooting during live productions
<>Stakeholder Support
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand event requirements
- Communicate technical capabilities, limitations, and recommendations
- Support executive-facing environments where reliability and professionalism are critical
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an AV Technician
- Hands-on experience supporting Zoom Rooms environments
- Experience operating audio mixers/audio boards
- Experience with AV switching systems and signal routing
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting executive meetings and customer-facing events
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting hybrid and virtual events
- Experience with enterprise conferencing technologies
- Knowledge of video streaming and broadcast workflows
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting for AV systems
- Experience working with Event Technology teams and production environments
