Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and enterprise application support. The candidate should have strong experience developing complex stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and SQL queries.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and views.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for high-volume transactional and reporting systems.
Perform Oracle database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and execution-plan analysis.
Develop and maintain ETL/data-processing workflows using PL/SQL and Oracle technologies.
Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and provide effective technical solutions.
Work closely with application developers, business analysts, QA teams, and database administrators.
Perform data migration, validation, reconciliation, and database integration activities.
Participate in code reviews, technical design, unit testing, and deployment activities.
Create technical documentation and follow established development and coding standards.

Required Skills

10+ years of strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL Development.
Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
Strong experience with Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, Cursors, Collections, and Dynamic SQL.
Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c or higher.
Strong knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning.
Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting is preferred.
Knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, and database integration.
Experience working with large-volume databases and complex data models.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Oracle Forms/Reports, Informatica, or other ETL tools.
Knowledge of AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform database technologies is a plus.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Jira, or other DevOps tools.
Experience in financial, healthcare, insurance, or other enterprise domains is a plus.
