Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automated testing, test planning, test data management, and Agile tools and a proven ability to deliver high-quality software that meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test cases aligned to functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Lead test planning at the team level, ensuring in-scope and out-of-scope items are defined.
- Partner with Scrum teams to refine stories and ensure clear acceptance criteria.
- Implement and maintain the team's test framework and regression suites.
- Lead test case reviews with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure coverage.
- Identify automation opportunities and develop automated tests for applicable test types.
- Prepare, condition, and generate test data while ensuring data compliance across environments.
- Execute manual and automated tests, record results, and report defects with supporting context.
- Participate in triage of issues and assist with resolution or escalation.
- Create and manage end-to-end traceability from requirements through tests and results.
- Use testing tools and processes to complete testing in assigned environments and support promotion activities.
- Maintain and catalog smoke, integration, and regression test suites.
- Support program and project management activities as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in test design, execution, and defect management across manual and automated testing.
- Experience implementing test frameworks and maintaining regression suites.
- Hands-on expertise with Agile tools, including Jira, for test planning and tracking.
- Knowledge of data compliance practices and test data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to traceability and coverage.
- Effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- SWIFT domain knowledge.
- Exposure to program or project management practices.
