  • Establish framework architecture, coding standards, reusable components, utilities, configuration, reporting, and test execution strategies.
  • Implement automation best practices such as Page Object Model (POM) and reusable test fixtures.
  • Identify appropriate test cases and scenarios for automation and expand automated test coverage.
  • Develop and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
  • Perform API testing using Postman and validate RESTful services.
  • Create and maintain BDD test scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin.
  • Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate backend data, business logic, data integrity, and application results.
  • Perform end-to-end testing across UI, APIs, databases, and integrated systems.
  • Execute and troubleshoot automated tests within Docker/containerized environments.
  • Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze test failures and collaborate with developers to determine root causes.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
  • Review requirements and acceptance criteria and provide feedback regarding testability and potential quality risks.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, test data, automation documentation, and QA metrics.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, framework architecture, and testing standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional QA/testing experience.
  • Proven experience with both manual and automated software testing.
  • Demonstrated experience building an automated test framework from scratch.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
  • Strong TypeScript development experience.
  • Experience designing automation framework architecture, reusable components, utilities, configuration, reporting, and test execution.
  • Experience with Postman and API testing.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries involving joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and multi-table data validation.
  • Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin and BDD.
  • Experience with Docker/containerized environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including source control, defect/work item tracking, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, SDLC, test planning, defect management, and automation best practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
