W2 Role
Looking for a very strong developer, primarily in Python, who has lots of experience with network security & operations as well as large datasets and data orchestration.
time on you and looking for someone with development experience. Python is ideal, but less tied to the language and more looking for someone who has developed applications, ideally worked with data analysis, bonus if they have cloud and k8s experience. The cloud/k8s could be peripheral in that their applications deploy there.
Strong, hands-on Software Developer with experience building applications, ideally using Python.
The priority is finding someone with solid software engineering fundamentals who can design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain applications. While Python is preferred, the team is flexible on programming language if the candidate demonstrates strong development capabilities.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on application development experience, including designing, writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software.
- Proven experience building actual applications, services, or tools rather than primarily managing infrastructure or deploying existing solutions.
- Strong programming fundamentals and the ability to independently develop solutions.
- Experience working with data as part of application development.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and understand how different application components interact.
Strongly Preferred
- Python development: Python is the ideal language, but candidates with strong experience in other languages should still be considered.
- Data analysis and processing: Experience developing applications that analyze, manipulate, transform, or process data.
- Large datasets: Experience working with substantial volumes of data, including data extraction, processing, and integration.
- Data orchestration: Experience building or supporting workflows that move, organize, or process data across systems.
- Experience developing backend applications, automation tools, APIs, or data-driven solutions.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Cloud experience: Exposure to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud environments.
- Kubernetes / Containers: Familiarity with applications running or being deployed in Kubernetes environments. Hands-on Kubernetes administration is not required.
- Network security / operations: Experience developing software supporting network security, network operations, security analytics, or cybersecurity use cases.
- Experience with Linux environments, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering.
- Experience developing applications that integrate with multiple systems or process operational/security data.
