Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the manufacturing department supportingproduction operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range: $16.50 to $17.50 an hour depending on shift
Shift:
1st -8 am to 4 pm
2nd - 4 pm to 12 am
3rd - 10 pm - 8 am (Sunday night start)
*OT is scheduled prior to start time and can be heavy, including Saturdays
What\'s the Job?
\t- Open positions are Assembly, Material Handling, Robotic Welding \t
- Assembler: \t
\t\t- Assembly products according to work orders and blueprints at individual workstations \t\t
- Hand and power tool operation, tape measure reading \t
\t \t - Material Handler: \t
\t\t- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed \t\t
- Receive, store, and distribute materials to production departments \t\t
- Maintain inventory accuracy using ERP systems and perform cycle counts \t
\t \t - Welding Robot Operator: \t
\t\t- Set up and operate robotic welding equipment \t\t
- Read blueprints and perform quality inspections using measuring tools \t

What\'s Needed?
\t- High School Diploma or GED required \t
- Basic math skills required \t
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure required \t
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions \t
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools preferred
