Job Description
We are looking for an experienced AWS Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud architecture, AWS services, infrastructure automation, security, and cloud migration.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud architectures using AWS services.
Develop cloud solutions leveraging EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, and CloudWatch.
Design and manage AWS networking components, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and load balancers.
Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, access management, and compliance controls.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
Design and implement highly available and fault-tolerant architectures with disaster recovery capabilities.
Support cloud migration, modernization, and application deployment initiatives.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver cloud solutions.
Implement monitoring, logging, performance optimization, and cost-management strategies.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and recommend architectural improvements.
Prepare architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and cloud implementation guidelines.
Required Skills
7+ years of experience in IT, with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud architecture and engineering.
Strong knowledge of core AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, and CloudWatch.
Experience designing secure, scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
Strong understanding of AWS networking, security, identity management, and encryption.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
Experience with cloud migration, disaster recovery, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.
Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Knowledge of serverless architecture, microservices, and event-driven systems.
Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
Understanding of cloud governance, compliance, and cost optimization.
