Role Overview
This role supports multiple engineering teams in a regulated medical device environment. The DevOps Engineer will design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, lead tool migrations, support embedded software development, and drive process improvements across complex, multiproject environments.
MustHave Skills
5+ years DevOps experience
DevOps in regulated or medical device environment
CI/CD pipeline design & optimization
GitLab / Jenkins
Artifact management (Nexus or JFrog)
Infrastructure management
Logging & monitoring
Strong scripting: C, Python, Bash
DevOps workflows integrated with embedded systems
OSlevel expertise: Linux, QNX, or Unixlike systems
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
Architect scalable DevOps solutions and remove technical bottlenecks
Lead migration and management of DevOps tools (GitLab, Jenkins)
Support embedded software development teams
Provide mentorship to junior and midlevel engineers
Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and execute solutions
Collaborate across multiple projects with changing requirements
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
Preferred Experience
Medical device or other regulated industry
Strong OSlevel debugging and systemlevel engineering
