Compensation:
PayRange:$60-$100/hr,dependingonexperience.

Responsibilities:
  • PartnerwithSoftwareEngineeringandArchitectureteamstodefine,implement,andmaintainInfrastructureasCode(IaC)andGitOpsstandardsforallenvironments.
  • Automateprovisioning,configuration,anddeploymentprocessesusingTerraform,Pulumi,orCloudFormation.
  • DesignandmanagescalablecloudinfrastructureinAWSand/orAzure,ensuringreliability,performance,andcostefficiency.
  • BuildandoptimizeCI/CDpipelinesusingGitHubActions,GitLabCI,AzureDevOps,orJenkins,integratingautomatedtestingandsecurityscanning.
  • DeployandmanagecontainerizedapplicationswithDocker,Kubernetes(EKS/AKS),Helm,andFluxCD.
  • Implementmonitoring,observability,andalertingusingPrometheus,Grafana,Datadog,CloudWatch,orAzureMonitor.
  • EnsuresystemsaresecureandcompliantwithcompanypoliciesandDevSecOpsbestpractices.
  • Troubleshootcomplexissuesacrossdistributedsystemsindevelopment,testing,andproductionenvironments.
  • Collaboratewithglobalandcross-functionalteamsacrossmultipletimezones.
  • Continuouslyevaluateandintroducenewtoolsandpracticestoimproveefficiencyandresilience.
Requirements:
  • 5+yearsofhands-onexperiencebuildingandmaintainingDevOpspipelinesinenterpriseorSaaSenvironments.
  • DeepknowledgeofAWS(EKS,Lambda,S3,RDS,EC2,VPC,Route53,CloudFront,CloudWatch)and/orAzure(AKS,Functions,AppService,Monitor,KeyVault).
  • StrongexperiencewithInfrastructureasCodetools(Terraform,Pulumi,CloudFormation)andConfigurationManagementtools(Ansible,Chef,Puppet).
  • SkilledinLinuxadministration(expert-level)andcomfortablewithWindowsenvironments.
  • ProficiencyinscriptinglanguagessuchasPython,Bash,orPowerShellforautomationandtooling.
  • Hands-onexperiencewithCI/CDtools(GitLab,GitHubActions,AzureDevOps,orJenkins).
  • Strongunderstandingofcontainerizationandorchestration,includingHelmandFluxCD.
  • ExperiencewithGitandmodernversioncontrolworkflows(featurebranching,codereview,mergestrategies).
  • Familiaritywithcloudsecurity,networking,andcostoptimization.
  • Strongproblem-solving,collaboration,andcommunicationskills.
  • Location:CandidatesmustbelocaltoMassachusetts;thispositionrequiressomeonsitecollaboration.
