We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Field Technician In the Denver Metro Area. This position offers an opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in construction materials testing and quality control inspection. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections, performing materials tests, and providing technical support to our construction teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and has a passion for ensuring the highest quality in construction projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
2. Perform tests on construction materials including soils, concrete, and asphalt to verify their quality and suitability for use.
3. Provide technical support and advice to construction teams on materials selection and usage.
4. Prepare and maintain detailed reports on inspection and testing results for submission to project managers and regulatory authorities.
5. Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to address any issues or problems identified during inspections or testing.
6. Stay updated with the latest industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to construction materials testing and quality control inspection.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing, quality control inspection, or a related field.
2. Additional ICC, WAQTC, NICET, or related construction inspection certifications are a plus.
3. Proficient knowledge of standard test methods for soils, concrete, and asphalt.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a variety of audiences.
5. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions and on different terrains.
8. Proficient in using various testing equipment and tools, as well as computer applications related to the job.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
