Job Details
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, materials science, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
5 or more years of progressive quality experience in a precision manufacturing setting, ideally including aerospace, defense, or other tightly regulated industries
Direct experience operating within an AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management system, including audit preparation and maintenance
Familiarity with ITAR requirements and export controlled environments
Working knowledge of CMMC or similar cybersecurity/compliance frameworks is a plus
Experience with CNC machining and/or metal additive manufacturing quality requirements, including GD&T, dimensional inspection, and first article inspection (AS9102 or similar)
Strong root cause and corrective action (RCCA) skills, including 8D, fishbone, and similar problem solving methodologies
Experience managing supplier quality, nonconformance processes, and internal audits
Proven ability to lead and develop a quality team, not just execute individual quality tasks
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the quality function credibly to customers, auditors, and executive leadership
Comfort operating in a fast paced, still maturing organization where processes are actively being built and refined
