The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring all food products meet regulatory, customer, and company food safety and quality standards. This role leads the implementation, monitoring, auditing, and continuous improvement of the facility\'s food safety and quality management systems within the Customer Service Center (CSC). This role serves as the site leader for food safety and quality assurance, ensuring product integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction across all production operations.
Key responsibilities include developing, deploying, and maintaining the facility\'s preventive food safety program, including policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), hazard analyses, HACCP plans, prerequisite programs, allergen management, traceability and recall procedures, and required documentation. The position also oversees employee training and compliance activities to ensure food safety standards are consistently followed.
The Manager ensures compliance with FDA, USDA, federal, state, and local regulations, customer requirements, and corporate quality standards. They are responsible for evaluating program effectiveness, conducting audits, maintaining accurate records, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring FDA FSMA preventive controls are properly executed and sustained throughout the operation.
