In this role, you'll support our Unclaimed Property Unit and help carry out the work outlined in Georgia's Unclaimed Property Act.

As a Helpdesk Analyst 1, you'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice customers reach by phone and email. Your day-to-day work will include:
- Guiding users through our online Claimant and Reporting websites
- Responding to customer inquiries with clear, helpful answers
- Handling clerical duties as assigned
Because you'll walk customers through detailed instructions, sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills are key to your success here.
Entry Qualifications- High School diploma or GED and six months of experience handling customers, questions, complaints, and/or providing information
Please note: DOR contingent workers must have completed at least 6 consecutive months on their current assignment to be considered.
Required Skills & Experience- Two years of customer service experience in a professional services environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to research data using manual and electronic resources to resolve customer issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred Qualifications- At least 1 year of inbound call center experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Salary: $49,920
Pay Grade: I
Location: 4125 Welcome All Rd, Atlanta GA 30349. This is a hybrid position with working hours of 8am to 4:45pm, Monday to Friday. Start times may be adjusted to 7:30am based on business needs. *A telework schedule of two(2)
remote days per week is contingent upon demonstrated proficiency after training and is subject to change based on DOR policies and ability to meet performance expectations.
