Job DetailsThis role supports conveyor, robotics, and automation integration projects for a variety of industrial customers, from initial concept through installation and post-launch support. You'll be hands-on in designing, programming, and commissioning control systems while partnering with internal teams and customers throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and program PLC-based control systems and supporting software
- Design electrical panels, schematics, and system layouts
- Support system integration, startup, and commissioning at customer sites
- Assist with sales, quoting, and technical concept development
- Train customers and provide ongoing technical support
- Manage smaller project scopes and contribute to larger automation initiatives
What You Bring:
- Strong PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley required; others a plus)
- Background in controls, electrical design, and system integration
- Experience with HMI/SCADA, motion control, and fieldbus technologies
- Exposure to robotics (Fanuc, UR, etc.) and industrial automation systems
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL, and relevant electrical standards
- Hands-on, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Engineering degree preferred; electrical license a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Willingness to travel ~25-40%
