he Data Center Business Analyst will support Data Center Projects and Operations by gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, managing project documentation, tracking financials and KPIs, creating JIRA stories, and supporting operational analysis. This role will work closely with Project Managers, Operations, Facilities, Engineering Teams, and functional stakeholders to improve processes, drive project execution, and support operational resilience initiatives, including disaster recovery and Black Start planning.
Responsibilities
•Gather, analyze, and document business, technical, and non-functional requirements.
•Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
•Create and maintain project documentation, process flows, MOPs, and release plans.
•Support project planning, scope management, scheduling, and status reporting.
•Create and manage JIRA stories, tasks, and action items.
•Maintain documentation within Confluence and Microsoft Office tools.
•Develop dashboards, reports, and KPI metrics to support operational and project decision-making.
•Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
•Support Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools and reporting.
•Assist with project financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
•Support Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Black Start readiness activities, including recovery documentation, dependency mapping, and tabletop exercises.
•Prepare meeting minutes, track follow-up actions, and coordinate with stakeholders across multiple teams.
•Travel to data center facilities as required.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
•3+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting Data Center, Infrastructure, or Technology projects.
•Experience working with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
•Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
•Experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical deliverables.
•Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
•Experience supporting disaster recovery, operational resiliency, or Black Start initiatives is preferred.
•Understanding of critical data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and capacity management, is a plus.
