job summary:
We are seeking a Lab Technician for a 6-month onsite contract in Fort Worth, TX, to support engineering operations and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test systems. In this hands-on role, you will build wiring harnesses, perform precision soldering, and assemble, debug, and maintain PC test equipment. Qualified candidates should hold an Associate's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology paired with 3 to 5 years of experience troubleshooting electrical test stands.
Ideal candidates would be open to occasional overtime (OT).

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, debug, and replace computer PC equipment used in hardware-in-loop (HIL) stands.
- Create and assemble wiring harnesses for test equipment setups.
- Perform soldering and circuit board repairs as needed.
- Assist the Chief Engineer or Engineering Manager in various engineering tasks and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment configurations, modifications, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications -
Education: Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology (or related field).
Experience: 3-5 years troubleshooting and maintaining electrical test equipment and HIL stands.
Core Skills: Soldering, wiring harness assembly/crimping, circuit repair, and PC hardware/software configuration.
Preferred: Basic Python scripting for test automation.
