Role Overview
A Full Stack Developer with a strong frontend background is sought for a UI modernization of an enterprise healthcare CIAM portal. This role works across the full frontend stack, including build tooling, design system adoption, production React components, and admin surfaces. The position involves collaboration with a Tech Lead who owns architecture and code review. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a CIAM environment with OAuth2/OIDC flows, ForgeRock or similar identity platforms, and Kubernetes pipelines on AWS EKS.
Key Responsibilities
- Migrate applications from Create React App to Vite and upgrade React, TypeScript, and React Router.
- Adopt a new design system, including design tokens, CSS custom properties, and utility classes, while removing legacy CSS-in-JS.
- Build a new application shell (sticky header, collapsible dark sidebar navigation, footer) and dashboard surfaces (animated hero, onboarding stepper, app tile grid).
- Develop redesigned admin tables with features such as sort, status, search, filter, and pagination, as well as multi-step modal wizards with validation and API integration.
- Wire components to authenticated user state, SCIM/IDM APIs, and entitlement data.
- Maintain and extend ForgeRock journeys, including login, MFA, email/phone validation, password updates, and identity verification.
- Deploy and validate in Kubernetes namespaces on AWS EKS across development, sandbox, and UAT environments.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills: The following skills are required for this role:
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, including hooks and Redux Toolkit.
- Deep knowledge of CSS, including design tokens, Grid, Flexbox, and accessible animation.
- Experience with build tooling such as Vite or Webpack.
- Expertise in form state management and validation using tools like React Hook Form and Zod to build complex multi-step user interfaces.
- Familiarity with accessible development practices (ARIA, keyboard navigation, WCAG 2.1 AA) and building from Figma or high-fidelity prototypes.
- Hands-on experience with ForgeRock AM or IDM, along with OAuth2/OIDC, SCIM, and RBAC in Single Page Applications.
- Proficiency in AWS EKS deployment, Docker, and Nginx for containerized builds and CI/CD pipelines.
- Must have experience with React and Spring Boot.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Create React App to Vite migration or styled-components removal.
- Familiarity with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
- Background in healthcare or HIPAA environments.
- Knowledge of IAM, OAuth, or OIDC.
- Experience with Ping Identity is a plus.
