Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to validate application quality.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution using Jira and Xray.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA team members to resolve issues and improve software quality.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports.
• Support automation testing initiatives by developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Validate application enhancements and ensure new functionality does not impact existing features.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA review activities within Agile environments.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
• 4+ years of experience using Xray for test planning, execution, and reporting.
• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining automation test scripts.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is highly preferred.
