Salesforce QA Tester – Manual Testing

Job Description

We are seeking a Salesforce Tester to support manual functional testing on a Salesforce implementation project, covering Salesforce features, business processes, integrations, and data migrations. The tester works closely with Salesforce developers, business analysts, MuleSoft developers, data migration teams, and business stakeholders to validate that Salesforce functionality meets business and technical requirements. Both Senior and Junior candidates are being considered — rate is based on experience level.

Responsibilities

•      Review business requirements, user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria

•      Create test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and manual test scripts

•      Execute functional, system, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and negative testing

•      Test Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, flows, approvals, reports, dashboards, and user access

•      Validate business processes and user journeys across Salesforce

•      Prepare and manage test data

•      Execute test scripts and document results, evidence, and status

•      Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)

•      Perform defect retesting and regression testing after changes

•      Participate in defect triage, sprint ceremonies, test planning, and release readiness

•      Support UAT: prepare scenarios, coordinate execution, assist with issue resolution

•      Perform integration testing across Salesforce, MuleSoft, the legacy application, and connected systems

•      Support data migration validation: completeness, accuracy, field mapping, relationships, business rule compliance

•      Assist with production validation and post-deployment testing

•      Maintain test documentation, requirements traceability, execution reports, and quality metrics

Required Skills & Qualifications

•      3+ years in software QA or manual testing

•      Hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications and business functionality

•      Strong experience writing and executing manual test scripts

•      Understanding of Salesforce objects, relationships, fields, record types, validation rules, flows, workflows, reports, dashboards, and security concepts

•      Experience with functional, regression, system, and end-to-end testing

•      Experience with defect management and test management tools

•      Ability to interpret requirements and build risk-based test coverage

•      Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

•      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

•      Experience supporting Salesforce implementation, enhancement, or release projects

•      Experience with legacy-system-to-Salesforce data migration validation

•      Experience working in an Agile environment
