Qualified candidates are proficient in preforming basic tasks and able to take direction from senior engineers. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20.00 - $29.00 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:Job Family Responsibilities: - Assists in the design of routine systems that integrate hardware and software.
- Assist lead engineers with project documentation and tasks.
- Ability to learn and show proficiency with Dematic systems, e.g., CAD, SAP, Travel, and other applications.
- Provides assistance in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction, and improvement in customer satisfaction.
- Aids in the start-up, commissioning, and testing of material handling systems.
- Assist with software PLC emulation and testing of material handling systems.
- Ability to locate and follow Standard Work Practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs basic tasks and functions for professional field of work.
- Seeks advice and guidance on nonroutine or problem areas from others.
- Identifies problems as they occur and takes appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex.
- Communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills.
- General understanding of project execution and deliverables; Scope, Schedule, Budget.
Education: - Actively pursuing aBS/BAUnder-Gradin Engineering.
Knowledge and Experience: - Typically, up to 0-4 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
- Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments.
- Demonstrates a basic knowledge of professional principles and skills.
- Effectively uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular area of specialization.
- Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Travel: Key Working Relationships: - Contacts are primarily with immediate manager and others in the group.
