Nature & Purpose of Position
The selected student will support development projects related to machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). Work may include assisting with data preparation, model development and evaluation, prototyping, experimentation, documentation, and implementation of AI/ML workflows. Specific assignments will vary based on project needs and may involve emerging tools, methods, and research-oriented software development.
Other Requirements for the Position
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
1.Current graduate student in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
2. Basic knowledge of Python programming.
3.Basic mathematics background, including comfort with algebra, statistics, or related quantitative concepts.
4. Willingness to learn new AI/ML tools, frameworks, and development practices.
5. Ability to work independently and communicate progress clearly.
6. Partial experience with cloud deployment or AWS is preferred but not required.
