Position: Sr. Java Middleware Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid-3days on-site)

Job Summary:
Candidate should have strong experience in enterprise Java applications, AWS, middleware, messaging technologies, Linux, and production support. The role involves monitoring mission-critical airline communication systems, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring high availability of uplink and downlink messages.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and maintain the SITA AIRCOM platform in production and non-production environments.
• Monitor AIRCOM services, message queues, and system health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents related to aircraft communications.
• Support ACARS message processing, routing, and delivery.
• Investigate message failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Deploy application releases and patches using established change management procedures.
• Work with airline operations, infrastructure, network, and development teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor JBoss EAP application servers and perform troubleshooting.
• Analyze application logs, thread dumps, and performance issues.
• Perform SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation.
• Maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in on-call production support rotation.
