Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Aerospace Engineer for a position with a Major US Airline located in Atlanta, GA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves conducting surveillance of airports and runways, updating aircraft performance data, and maintaining operational systems to ensure integrity and maximize performance. The ideal candidate will provide operational data and support to various teams and enhance policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities: - Conduct surveillance of airports/runways and environs related to performance definitions
- Update aircraft performance data and operational systems for operational integrity and to maximize performance capabilities
- Interact with and provide operational data, support and guidance to diverse operational, IT, and commercial disciplines related to aircraft deployment
- Maintain, develop, and enhance policies, procedures, and processes which deliver consistent, high quality technical, strategic, and operational support meeting all regulatory requirements
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aeronautical/Aerospace strongly preferred)
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and other technical information, as well as effectively generate detailed engineering documents
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks, projects, and reporting functions, think systemically and meet required deadlines
Pay range: up to $36.50 per hour
