Pay Rate: Up to $72.00/hr On W2
Role Summary
Seeking a Performance Test Manager with 10+ years of experience for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC (Onsite-Hybrid, minimum 3 days/week in office).
The candidate will serve as the primary SPOC for client engagement, leading end-to-end performance testing strategy, requirements elicitation, and delivery across multiple projects. Hands-on expertise with NeoLoad and APM/Monitoring tools is mandatory, along with proven leadership in managing offshore delivery teams and driving performance engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy & Delivery Management: Assess, define, and drive end-to-end performance testing strategies across multiple enterprise projects. Identify delivery risks, manage dependencies, and ensure quality standards.
* Client & Stakeholder Governance: Act as the primary SPOC for the client, lead status reviews, communicate project risks/blockers, and build strategic client relationships.
* Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Lead discovery sessions to define non-functional requirements (NFRs), performance goals, SLAs, and actionable test plans.
* Offshore Coordination & Oversight: Guide offshore performance testing teams, provide technical oversight, monitor deliverables, and ensure adherence to timelines and standards.
* Onsite Engagement: Work onsite in Charlotte, NC at least 3 days per week to support stakeholder collaboration, governance, and rapid decision-making.
Required Skills
* Core Experience: 10+ years of dedicated experience in Performance Testing and Quality Engineering leadership.
* Testing & Tools: Deep expertise in NeoLoad and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
* Management & Leadership: Strong background in client relationship management, requirement elicitation, and offshore team oversight.
* Nice to Have: Background in advanced Performance Engineering and relevant certifications.
