A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a “Senior API Technical Engineer "

Position type: Full-Time Contract (W2)
Role: “Senior API Technical Engineer”
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location : Cincinnati, OH (Onsite role)

Must have required skills – Apigee Hybrid/Apigee X, proxy migration, API proxy development, Azure/AWS, Kubernetes, version control

Primary Skill Required for the Role:

Overall 6+ years of experience with Apigee Hybrid/Apigee X, including proxy migration, deployments, runtime management, and troubleshooting.
Strong skills in API proxy development, shared flows, policies, flow hooks, target endpoints, and error handling.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and scripting capability and automation for deployment, configuration, and operational tasks in Linux/cloud environments.
Good understanding of Kubernetes (clusters, pods, namespaces, deployments, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Ingress).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated release processes.
Familiarity with Azure/AWS and containerized application deployments.
Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, authentication, integrations, data transformation, backend connectivity, and API lifecycle management.

Details:
Lead Apigee Hybrid migration and API proxy development activities.
Develop, deploy, and manage API solutions on Kubernetes platforms.
Create automation scripts to streamline deployments and operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance API solutions.
Troubleshoot and optimize API platform performance, security, and reliability.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $45 - $50/- per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
