ETL /EDW Lead – Sybase to PostgreSQL Migration (AWS Cloud)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced ETL/EDW Lead with 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, ETL development, and cloud migration projects. The candidate will lead the migration of legacy Sybase databases and ETL workloads to PostgreSQL on AWS, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and seamless business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Sybase to PostgreSQL migration initiatives.
Analyze existing ETL/EDW architecture and define migration strategy.
Design and implement ETL pipelines on AWS cloud platforms.
Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
Optimize database performance, partitioning, indexing, and query tuning.
Collaborate with business, architecture, and application teams.
Manage data quality, governance, and migration testing.
Drive release planning, deployment, and production support activities.
Mentor ETL developers and coordinate offshore/onshore teams.

8 + years of ETL/EDW development and support experience.

Strong knowledge of ETL design patterns and data integration.
Experience leading teams and stakeholder communications.
