SAP PP/PTM Consultant (Onshore)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/PTM Consultant to collaborate with business stakeholders and define, design, and optimize end-to-end Plan-to-Manufacture (PTM) processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in manufacturing business processes, SAP Production Planning (PP), process design, requirement gathering, and fit-gap analysis to drive successful SAP transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across the complete Plan-to-Manufacture lifecycle.
Design and define end-to-end PTM processes aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
Facilitate workshops and discussions with business and IT teams to understand current-state and future-state manufacturing processes.
Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend process improvements to maximize SAP standard functionality and minimize customization.
Configure and optimize SAP S/4HANA Production Planning processes, including:
Demand Management
Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Production Planning
Material Staging
Shop Floor Execution
Production Order Processing
Confirmations
Cost Settlement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with related SAP modules.
Support solution design, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
Provide guidance on manufacturing process optimization and industry best practices.
Create functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP).
Deep understanding of Plan-to-Manufacture (PTM) business processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP HANA.
Proven expertise in business process design, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management.
Experience conducting fit-gap analysis and translating business requirements into SAP solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lead workshops and collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP Design Studio.
Strong background in manufacturing process optimization initiatives.
Knowledge of discrete and/or process manufacturing industry practices.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation projects.
Familiarity with integration touchpoints across Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules.
Domain Experience
Manufacturing Industry (Discrete, Process, Industrial Manufacturing, Consumer Products, or related sectors).
Experience working in large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or transformation programs is highly desirable.
