Position : SAP ISU ABAP Consultant
Location : Irving, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months contract
Experience: 15+ Years
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP ISU ABAP Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ISU (Industry-Specific Utilities) and ABAP programming, with a proven track record of successful implementations and customizations. This role involves working closely with our technical and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs within the SAP ISU module.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ISU-related issues.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes and enhance system functionality.
- Perform system upgrades and ensure the seamless integration of new functionalities.
- Optimize and tune ABAP programs for performance improvements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for all developments and customizations.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- years of experience in SAP ISU and ABAP development.
- Strong understanding of the SAP ISU module, including billing, invoicing, device management, and work management.
- Proficient in ABAP programming, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
- Experience with SAP enhancement techniques such as User Exits, BADI, BAPI, and Enhancement Framework.
- Knowledge of SAP workflows and IDocs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- SAP certification in ISU or ABAP is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 development.
- Understanding of SAP ISU data migration and conversion processes.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
