Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Data Scientists to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design and implement cloud-based data migration solutions using AWS services and data integration technologies.
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes, batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines, and database migration workflows.
- Configure cloud infrastructure, networking, security, monitoring, and automation to support scalable and reliable data platforms.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to develop migration plans, technical documentation, and deployment strategies while ensuring successful project delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
8+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, AWS data migration, ETL/ELT development, and enterprise data integration.

|
Technical Skills
|
AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda), ETL/ELT Development, Python, CloudFormation/Terraform, SQL, AWS CloudWatch, Data Migration
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
Cloud Migration, Data Integration, Infrastructure Planning, Technical Documentation, Stakeholder Collaboration, Problem Solving
|
|
Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
|
|
Documentation
|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

|
Work Authorization
|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Database – Specialty.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments, legacy system modernization, and cloud networking/security.
- Experience working in public sector or regulated enterprise environments.
