Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI prompt engineer with a specialization in insurance underwriting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in submission and evaluation processes, loss assessment, and a profound understanding of general artificial intelligence (Gen AI). The candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our underwriting capabilities by leveraging advanced AI technologies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in insurance underwriting with a focus on submission & evaluation and loss assessment.
Strong background in developing and implementing AI models, particularly in the field of insurance.
Familiarity with general artificial intelligence concepts and applications.
Excellent programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop AI prompts tailored for insurance underwriting processes.
Collaborate with underwriting teams to understand submission requirements and create intelligent prompts for efficient data collection.
Streamline and optimize the submission process using AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Evaluate and analyze underwriting submissions, utilizing AI algorithms to assess risk factors and provide data-driven insights.
Utilize AI models to assess potential losses and predict risk scenarios.
Develop and implement loss assessment strategies to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Work closely with IT and AI development teams to integrate AI models into underwriting systems seamlessly.
Ensure the compatibility of AI algorithms with existing underwriting workflows.
Demonstrate expertise in general artificial intelligence, exploring and implementing cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance underwriting processes.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Gen AI, applying relevant innovations to improve underwriting practices.
