Data Analyst Finance / Asset Management / CRM
Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong financial services experience and exceptional Excel, data analysis, and process improvement skills to support a business-facing data and CRM environment. The ideal candidate will come from a buy-side organization such as a hedge fund, asset manager, or investment management firm and will be comfortable working directly with end-users to understand their needs, resolve data issues, and develop practical solutions.
This is a highly collaborative role for someone who can bridge the gap between business users, data, CRM, and technology. The successful candidate should be a creative problem solver who can work through complex data structures, integrate information from multiple sources, improve processes, and translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, CRM Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- Prior experience working in financial services is mandatory.
- Strong preference for candidates with buy-side experience, particularly within:
- Hedge Funds
- Asset Management
- Investment Management
- Portfolio Management
- Strong experience with data analysis and data process improvement.
- Hands-on experience working with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Experience working with multiple data sources and navigating different data structures.
- Experience adding or modifying CRM fields, Flows, reporting, and related functionality.
- Understanding of Salesforce Apex is highly desirable.
- Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact directly with business users and senior stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
