Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Desired Certifications:
• Microsoft Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric certifications.
Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics consulting roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse architecture, Semantic Models, or modern cloud analytics platforms
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and user-centered dashboard design.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and data analysis techniques.
• Strong experience defining KPIs, metrics, scorecards, and operational reporting frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Analytical thinking, business process analysis, executive communication, and storytelling with data.
• Dashboard and UX design, stakeholder influence, requirements elicitation, problem-solving, data governance awareness, and a continuous improvement mindset.

As the reporting ecosystem is modernized, the team is leading a strategic migration from legacy business intelligence platforms to Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to establish a governed and scalable foundation for enterprise analytics. The Senior Data Analyst / Business Analyst will be a key contributor to the Power BI and Fabric transformation, partnering with business stakeholders, data engineers, product owners, and leadership teams to analyze reporting needs, rationalize existing dashboard portfolios, design compelling visualizations, and drive adoption of modern analytics solutions. The role requires strong analytical skills, visualization expertise, and business acumen, with the ability to translate complex operational data into intuitive, actionable insights that support executive decision-making and operational excellence.
Success includes becoming a trusted advisor to business and operational stakeholders, driving measurable progress in the Power BI and Fabric migration, delivering highly adopted dashboards that replace legacy reporting solutions, championing governance and consistency, and helping establish Power BI as the preferred enterprise reporting platform within ProCODE’s supported domains.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business and operational stakeholders to capture reporting requirements, define success metrics, and identify opportunities for analytics modernization.
• Conduct discovery sessions, process reviews, and dashboard assessments to understand current-state reporting and future-state needs.
• Translate business questions into analytical requirements, user stories, and reporting specifications while serving as the bridge between technical delivery teams and business partners.
• Lead analysis activities supporting the migration of reporting assets from legacy platforms into Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Evaluate existing dashboards based on usage, relevance, business value, and migration complexity, and recommend consolidation, retirement, enhancement, or migration strategies.
• Support migration planning by documenting requirements, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Design intuitive, impactful, and executive-ready Power BI dashboards.
• Establish visualization standards and best practices that improve usability, consistency, and adoption.
• Develop KPI frameworks, scorecards, operational dashboards, and executive reporting solutions that effectively communicate trends, risks, opportunities, and operational performance.
• Support reporting governance standards, dataset ownership models, and certification processes.
• Help establish trusted reporting practices that improve data quality, consistency, and confidence in business decisions.
• Promote adoption of standardized semantic models and certified datasets.
• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure reporting solutions align with enterprise data governance standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting experiences through automation, standardization, and self-service analytics.
• Monitor adoption and stakeholder feedback to improve reporting effectiveness.
• Contribute to the evolution of operational insights, reporting strategy, and the analytics operating model.
