Summary

Requirements: Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies and a proven track record designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network solutions utilizing Arista, routing/switching, Nokia, and Palo Alto technologies
Troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues and outages
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network security and optimization strategies
Maintain and update network documentation and configurations
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
Evaluate and recommend network infrastructure improvements

Required Experience & Qualifications:

7+ years of professional networking experience at the engineer level
Advanced proficiency with Arista switching platforms
Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols and architecture
Hands-on experience with Nokia networking equipment
Demonstrated experience with Palo Alto firewall and security solutions
Solid understanding of cloud networking and integration (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Preferred: CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification
Acceptable: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification or equivalent industry certifications

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
Capable of working in data center environments with varying temperature and noise levels
Comfortable with climbing ladders and working at heights for equipment installation and maintenance
Ability to stand, walk, and move about the workplace for extended periods
Willingness to perform on-call support and emergency response duties as needed

Preferred Skills:

Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies
Familiarity with network monitoring and analytics tools
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
