Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, network security, firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to ensure reliable and secure network operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless networking devices.
  • Configure and manage VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, TCP/IP, and QoS.
  • Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and security.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, packet loss, and performance issues.
  • Configure and manage enterprise firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network security policies.
  • Perform network upgrades, migrations, installations, and infrastructure deployments.
  • Support cloud networking environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Analyze network incidents and provide timely resolution for critical issues.
  • Collaborate with System Administrators, Cloud Engineers, Security Engineers, DevOps teams, and other IT teams.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident response activities when required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
  • Assist with network automation using tools such as Python and Ansible.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in Network Engineering or Network Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and QoS.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and Cisco IOS/NX-OS.
  • Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and STP.
  • Experience with enterprise firewalls and network security.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex network connectivity and performance issues.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, or Splunk.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows networking.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Certifications

Candidates should have at least one or more relevant networking certifications, with preference given to candidates holding two or more of the following:

  • CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate
  • CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • JNCIA-Junos – Juniper Networks Certified Associate

Equivalent hands-on networking experience may be considered along with relevant certifications.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or similar firewalls.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform networking.
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN, SDN, and network virtualization.
  • Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Knowledge of Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation tools.
  • Experience with enterprise wireless technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and network segmentation.
