Job Summary
We are looking for a QA professional with experience in backend financial systems, API testing, automation, SQL validation, and CI/CD integration. This role involves working closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, compliance teams, and auditors to ensure applications are reliable, secure, traceable, and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and non-functional test cases.
- Test REST APIs, backend services, and event-driven workflows.
- Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation testing.
- Validate financial transactions, calculations, and business workflows.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python and PyTest.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Test role-based access controls and complex approval workflows.
- Create audit-ready test documentation and evidence.
- Troubleshoot issues across application, integration, and database layers.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of QA/Test Engineering experience.
- Strong experience with Python and PyTest.
- REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
- Strong SQL query and data validation skills.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of financial, banking, fintech, or regulated systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
