Job Description
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Core Java, Selenium, UFT, and API testing and a proven ability to design and deliver agentic QA solutions leveraging company AI platforms while leading end-to-end testing across multiple initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Own QA for assigned initiatives, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Coordinate and execute E2E and LLE testing across teams and systems.
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium, UFT/QTP, and Python/Java.
- Build agentic QA solutions using company AI solutions to improve coverage and efficiency.
- Validate REST and SOAP APIs using SOAPUI and Postman, including automation and debugging.
- Perform backend validation with Oracle SQL and database analysis.
- Manage risks, issues, and defects with clear communication to developers, clients, and management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Python and Core Java for test automation.
- Ability to build agentic solution for QA using company AI solutions.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Selenium and UFT (QTP) test automation tools.
- Proven ability to develop automated UFT/QTP test scripts from scratch and enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot existing automation frameworks and scripts.
- 3+ years of API testing experience, including both REST and SOAP web services.
- Hands-on experience using SOAPUI and Postman for API validation, test execution, debugging, and automated testing.
- 3+ years of experience writing Oracle SQL queries for data validation, test data analysis, and backend verification.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and validation through direct database analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with XML, XSD, and JSON data formats.
- Backend testing, including file processing, MQs, and integration testing.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot failures using Windows server logs and Splunk.
- VBA macro development and maintenance.
- Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, including design, automation, and execution of tests.
- Ability to learn complex business domains, systems, and architectures quickly.
- Ability to deliver in a dynamic, fast-paced, and complex environment with high-quality outcomes.
- Strong ownership with end-to-end coordination, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Proven team collaboration across development, testing, and business teams.
- Ability to support multiple applications and projects while managing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Details:
- Onsite requirement: 3 days per week in Addison, TX.
- Interview process: ID verification via Glider, two rounds (virtual and in person).
