Summary

Position Summary

The AWS Architect designs and governs the cloud infrastructure for the platform on native AWS services. You will build a serverless-first, secure, and cost-effective foundation on AWS, define infrastructure standards, and ensure the platform meets FedRAMP and availability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design cloud infrastructure using native AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, Aurora, S3, ECS/EKS)
Define infrastructure-as-code standards using AWS CDK/CloudFormation
Architect for FedRAMP compliance
Lead AWS Well-Architected reviews and cost-optimization efforts
Design networking, security, and multi-environment strategies
Support integration of Amazon Bedrock and agentic AI services
Guide capacity planning, resilience, and disaster recovery

Required Qualifications

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
5+ years of hands-on AWS architecture and delivery
Strong infrastructure-as-code experience (CDK/CloudFormation)
Experience with high-availability, high-volume systems
U.S. work authorization and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications

FedRAMP experience
Serverless and event-driven architecture at scale
Amazon Bedrock / agentic AI experience
