Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Zscaler Engineer with strong experience in enterprise networking, security, and infrastructure engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with the Zscaler Zero Trust platform, data center technologies, enterprise wireless environments, and next-generation security solutions. This role involves supporting large-scale global IT environments while driving secure connectivity, automation, and network modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering, security, and infrastructure deployment.
- Proven experience supporting large-scale, highly available, and complex global IT environments.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust Security Architecture and enterprise networking concepts.
Required Technical Skills
Zscaler Technologies
- Extensive experience with the Zscaler Zero Trust ecosystem.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
- Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
- Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX)
- Zscaler Branch Connector
- Experience implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing secure access solutions.
Data Center & Network Infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and data center operations.
- Experience with Data Center automation and operational visibility.
- Hands-on experience utilizing Cisco Nexus Dashboard for:
- Centralized fabric management
- Proactive monitoring
- Operational automation
- Performance and infrastructure visibility
Enterprise Wireless & Edge Networking
- Experience deploying and managing enterprise wireless environments, including:
- HPE Mist
- Cisco Wireless
- Cisco Meraki
- Knowledge of edge networking and secure connectivity solutions.
Network Security
- Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
- Experience with firewall policies, VPN technologies, segmentation, and threat prevention solutions.
- Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification.
- Zscaler certifications are highly preferred.
- Cisco networking certifications (CCNA/CCNP) are a plus.
- Experience with network automation and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Zscaler security solutions across enterprise environments.
- Manage and optimize ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, and Branch Connector deployments.
- Support Zero Trust initiatives and secure access strategies.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network and security infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
- Implement network and security enhancements to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Provide technical documentation, operational support, and incident resolution.
