What the Client Is Looking For 1. Security & Risk Management Experience
The ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Vulnerability Management
- Technology Risk Management
- Software/Product Lifecycle Management
- End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) governance

2. Strong Data Analysis Skills
The candidate should be comfortable working with:
- Tooling inventories
- Vulnerability reports
- Product usage and installation data
- Remediation tracking dashboards
The expectation is to analyze large datasets, identify risk areas, prioritize actions, and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
3. Program Coordination & Follow-Through
A major part of the role involves driving remediation activities by coordinating with:
- Application Teams
- Product Owners
- PDAF teams
- Package & Release teams
- Patch & Vulnerability Management teams
- Other enterprise technology stakeholders
The client wants someone who can influence teams, follow up on action items, manage dependencies, and ensure commitments are delivered on time.
4. Backlog & Issue Management Experience
They are looking for someone who can:
- Manage remediation backlogs
- Track production tasks and open issues
- Escalate blockers when necessary
- Monitor progress against deadlines
- Maintain governance and compliance reporting
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar tracking tools would be valuable.
5. Strong Communication Skills
The candidate must be able to:
- Create executive-level status reports
- Present risk summaries and remediation plans
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide leadership-ready updates
6. Process Improvement & Automation Mindset
The client wants someone who can:
- Reduce manual effort through automation
- Improve workflows and governance processes
- Create documentation and self-service guidance
- Establish repeatable and scalable practices
7. Ability to Work Independently
Since this is an enterprise-wide coordination role, the client is seeking someone who can:
- Handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Work with minimal supervision
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments
