Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Hybrid)
Role Overview
This position focuses on the Network Readiness Delivery for new network products, from definition and build to operation. The Delivery Lead will act as a key stakeholder in the Network Product Architecture Review Board, with accountability for the Operational Readiness of products before deployment. The role involves communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing visibility into the health of new network service deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery of new services and technologies across multiple teams.
- Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for defined deliverables.
- Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with sponsors and stakeholders.
- Ensure deliverables comply with Network and Enterprise Standards.
- Support and manage operational readiness activities and product introductions for cross-functional support teams across all Network technologies globally.
- Collaborate with consulting service vendors, managed service providers, and internal partners to develop and transition new product introductions.
- Manage a large portfolio of strategic and tactical projects with operational accountability for product governance, support model development, business case support, risk analysis, and knowledge management.
- Assemble professional documents based on existing templates and provide accurate work descriptions.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership, ownership, and accountability as a self-starter.
- Understanding of network-based technologies and competency in technical terminology.
- Experience with release and deployment or operational readiness of network technologies, including WAN, LAN, MAN, Optical Core, Firewall, Proxy/Threat prevention, Load Balancing, DDI, and AAA.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Agile framework, and SCRUM ceremonies.
- Client interfacing skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience operating with colleagues across different time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical acumen.
- Experience in Networking-related disciplines in design, operation, and implementation services.
- Experience working in a Financial Services environment is a plus.
- Participation in the design, implementation, or operations of major IT projects.
