Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer User Support Specialists to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Perform hands-on installation, replacement, imaging, configuration, and troubleshooting of computers, docking stations, peripherals, and related hardware and software.
- Support hardware refresh and technology deployment activities, including data migration, equipment moves, software installation, testing, upgrades, and replacement activities.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, and peripheral issues while maintaining appropriate security controls and documenting service activities.
- Provide responsive end-user support, coordinate with project team members, maintain service records, and assist with technology operations and related project activities.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
|
|
Experience
|
1+ year of experience supporting personal computers, hardware, peripherals, software applications, troubleshooting, technical assistance, or related IT support activities.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
Desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, software installation, operating system support, hardware deployment, peripheral support, data migration, system troubleshooting, technical documentation, customer support, information security practices
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience supporting computer and docking station refresh or technology deployment projects, including imaging, equipment replacement, and end-user data migration.
- Experience providing hands-on technical support for Windows-based computers, peripherals, printers, software applications, and related information technology systems.
- Experience installing, moving, testing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and replacing hardware and software within an enterprise or public-sector IT environment.
- Experience supporting technology operations and user-facing systems within government or other structured, security-conscious environments, including adherence to information security procedures.

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
